Written because my peeps on J&SB-slash asked so nicely for a sequel. ++++++++++++++++ Silent Bob raised an eyebrow. Who could be visiting them on Christmas Day? He looked over at Jay and Karen, the two of them were asleep on the couch together. It had been a busy morning, with a lot of presents for Karen to open with "help" from Jay. Bob shrugged and got to his feet. He made his way to the door, stepping carefully around the piles of wrapping paper and gifts. Silent Bob opened the door and found a handsome man, wearing sunglasses, a white cane in one hand and a big FAO Schwartz bag in the other. "Is this the right apartment? The taxi driver wasn't much help," he grinned apologetically. Bob's jaw dropped. The man in front of him was a dead ringer for Holden McNeil, if Holden had a red-haired twin. "Hello?" called the man. "Anyone there?" The strange voice woke Jay from his nap. He stretched carefully, so as to not wake Karen. "Yo, Bob!" he whisper-yelled. "Who the fuck is at the door?" Jay squinted. "Holy shit. Motherfuckin' Holden McNeil come to pay us a visit." "I'm sorry?" said the stranger. "My name's Matt Murdock. I, ah, knew Karen's mother." Silent Bob nodded and then realized that Matt couldn't hear him nod. Matt hid a smile as he heard Bob's heartbeat increase due to his embarassment. Jay nodded at Matt from the couch. "I'm Jay, and this is my hetero lifemate, Silent Bob. You already know Karen," he said, indicating the sleeping infant in his arms. Matt heard the rustling that Jay's clothes made as he moved and nodded back. Jay glared at Bob. "What the fuck are you waitin' for? Invite 'im in! You don't want our fuckin' daughter to catch a cold do you?" Bob started to motion Matt in, but stopped himself. Silent Bob cleared his throat and spoke. "Please, come in," he said. Matt entered the apartment and set down the shopping bag. "I brought Karen some gifts, I hope you the two of you don't mind." "Motherfucker can talk any time he wants to," Jay muttered to himself. "But no. It's always fuckin' eyebrows and gestures and..." his voice trailed off as he looked at the bundle in his arms. "Would you look at that. Hey Karen," Jay said to his daughter. "Got someone who wants to meet you. Say hi to your Uncle Matt." Matt carefully stepped through the minefield of gifts and wrapping paper until he reached the couch. "May I?" he asked Jay. "Sure," replied Jay. "But be careful." "Oh, I will," Matt breathed as he carefully took Karen into his arms. "Hi Karen." Matt swallowed hard as Karen gurgled and grabbed one of his fingers. "I'm your Uncle Matt. Merry Christmas."
